The Aftermath

In case you hadn't heard the Chicago Blackhawks are your 2010 Stanley Cup Champions and because I like hockey and photography and have a crush on this team I went through the AP photo gallery. Here's a look at the celebration with some of my favourite photos from the aftermath. I like watching hockey live but I love looking at sheer emotion (for the most part joy-except in the case of one photo) captured in a single moment.

So, I'll start us off with the photo above. Patrick Kane, love him or hate him, just scored the game winning goal in sudden death overtime to win his team the Stanley Cup...pretty much the happiest feeling ever...

...followed by pretty much the worst.

2010 Stanley Cup Winners

This isn't going to help quash those gay rumours but who cares, they're just expressing the team bromance that comes with winning a Stanley Cup. Congrats Blackhawks and Flyers on an exciting series and Game 6. Party in Chicago-all summer long!
